MEET OUR FOUNDATION COMMITTEE

CHRIS SACRE - Committee Chairman

Chris Sacre is widely regarded and respected within the childcare industry. Chris developed a passion for the industry in early 2007 when he provided financial consultative services, as an Advisory Manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers to G8 Education (formally Early Learning Services) in the lead up to the public listing. After successfully floating the company in 2007, Chris joined G8 Education as Chief Financial Officer. During his time with G8 Education, Chris was instrumental to the growth of the company with over 450 childcare acquisitions, raising over $500mil. in capital and increasing market cap. from $4mil. to $1.6bil. Chris established CCLP Consulting Pty Ltd and specialises in acquisitions, divestments, developments and leasing. He is also the approved provider for Eden Academy Early Learning Centres and has over 10 centres operating across Australia.

PAUL KLEINSCHMIDT

Paul has been an active and valued member of the Trinity community for 40 years. Commencing his journey with Trinity as a foundation student in 1981, Paul continued to stay connected to Trinity,  all three of Paul's children have completed their education at the college with his final child graduating in 2018. Paul has a rich history in agriculture, starting work for a local irrigation business in Nerang. After a few years and in conjunction with his business partner, Paul purchased that company. This business grew into the biggest urban irrigation business in South East Queensland and was later sold, Paul remained at the company in a management position. Paul had been actively involved in fundraising activities for the college through the P&F committee and now sits as College Council Chair, Member of the Finance Committee and additionally a Committee Member for the Friends of Trinity Lutheran College Foundation.

DAVID LOFT

David Loft is a finance professional of thirty plus years. He has worked for many large Australian Financial institutions over his career in roles of commercial finance, retail banking, Accounting, and financial planning. David now owns and operates his own commercial finance brokerage, Steward Funding. The business provides financial solutions to small to medium enterprise and has a specialisation in funding solutions for professionals. David holds an MBA, a diploma in financial services, and a Diploma in mortgage broking. David’s involvement at Trinity spans ten years involved in the school governance. He is a college Council member, the Chair of the school’s finance committee and a long-standing board member of the Trinity Foundation.

DR TSAE WONG

Tsae has been the Principal of Trinity Lutheran College since January 2014. She joined Trinity in 2010 as Deputy Head of College after holding several senior leadership positions including Director of Teaching and Learning (Senior School), Director of Teaching and Learning (P to Year 12) and Acting Head of Senior School, at St Hilda’s School (Southport) and John Paul College (Daisy Hill). Tsae has also taught Physics at Raffles Girls’ Secondary School in Singapore and Ipswich Girls’ Grammar School as a mid-career teacher. She completed her PhD in 2018. As Principal, Tsae is the chief executive of the college. She is appointed by the College Board, i.e. College Council, and reports to the Board as regards the proper conduct, management and discipline of the staff and students of the college.

JOHN MCDIARMID

John has broad experience having worked in the private, government and not-for-profit sectors. Specialising in strategic planning, analytical operations management, stakeholder relationships and managing change for business improvement, John is using his ‘numbers brain’, people skills and technical knowledge at Trinity Lutheran College.

John’s early career included working as a financial analyst, economist and programmer for Thompson Reuters, before moving onto senior management roles with superannuation and financial planning companies. After a period of restructuring an aged care provider and an employment services provider, John later worked in executive positions within customer services, workers compensation and corporate service areas.

MICHELLE BORKOWSKI - Committee Member

Michelle was appointed Foundation Manager for the Friends of Trinity Lutheran College Foundation in September 2021, in 2023 she was promoted to the Community Engagement Manager. Michelle brings with her a wealth of knowledge within the charity sector. Her role within the foundation will be to drive the strategic vision. This will be acheived by raising funds to continue to enhance our current facilities across both campuses.  Michelle has a strong history in not for profit sector along with a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of sales and marketing. Michelle is an expert in strategic planning, account management, event planning and fundraising.
